Last month we were shopping at Trader Joes and found this Dairy Free Pumpkin Oat Beverage. My daughter and I love pumpkin everything so I had to try it. We had frozen bananas and spinach so I created a delicious green pumpkin spice smoothie recipe. This vegan pumpkin smoothie recipe is healthy, dairy free, easy to make, and picky toddler approved!
If you have a picky eater you may know that if you let them help in the kitchen they are more likely to eat. You can have them help you put the ingredients in the blender as you explain what each one is. You can describe the colors, textures, and flavors.
My daughter loves to push the button to blend the and giggles as she runs away. If your toddler doesn’t like loud noises just warn them before they push the button. She likes to drink hers out of her special “smoothie cup” that has a silicone straw.
When making this pumpkin smoothie you may have some leftover. You can put it into popsicle molds and freeze them to help soothe your teething toddlers gums, to help bring down their fever when they are sick, or to give to them as a “treat”
I hope you enjoyed this healthy toddler friendly green pumpkin spice smoothie recipe! Here is another pumpkin spice smoothie recipe you may like.
